[Q1] Can I submit 2 entries?
[A1] Yes, you can submit as many entries as possible, however, each design should be different.

[Q2] Can a homeschool student enter the contest?
[A2] Yes, any K-12 students on the Big Island of Hawai`i can enter the contest.

[Q3] I live on Oahu Island. Can I send my entry?
[A3] Unfortunately, no. Only students who go to a school on the Big Island of Hawai`i (including home school) can enter the contest.

[Q4] Can I modify my design last year and submit it again?
[A4] Yes, if it is your original design, and has not been awarded in past years. You should not copy a design of other person.

[Q5] I live in Waimea, but can I drop off my design sheet at KTA in Kailua Kona?
[A5] Yes. You can submit your entry at any KTA courtesy desk at Keawe Street, Piainako, Waimea, Kailua Kona, or Keauhou.

[Q6] When will I know the result of the contest?
[A6] The winners will be announced at the Coin Contest official site by the beginning of May. All winners will receive a letter in the middle April.

[Q7] Where can I get the coins (aluminum or bronze)?
[A7] Aluminum coins will be given out at AstroDay (on first Saturday of May) and other science/astronomy outreach events. Bronze coins will be available at Mauna Kea Visitor Information Station (VIS) and its First Light E-Store.
