Total Solar Eclipse 2017

A total solar eclipse will darken the skies above Oregon all the way to South Carolina along a path 70 miles wide. Though a total solar eclipse will not be seen in the Hawaiian Islands. A partial solar eclipse will be visible right at dawn.

The sun will rise at 6:20 AM HST in partial eclipse, with about one-third of the sun’s face blocked by the moon. The moon slowly uncover the sun until complete by 7:25 AM.
